The first workshop under the Towards Zero Poverty Project convened development experts and economists in a roundtable discussion. The discussion, which sought to identify key issues on poverty in the Philippines,  focused on four key areas on poverty reduction: Fostering Inclusive Growth, Measuring Poverty, Job Creation, and Structural Transformation.

The second workshop of the Towards Zero Poverty workshop series was divided into two sessions, “Rebalancing Growth” and “Growing Inclusive Markets in Agriculture.” The event was focused on developing concrete policies promoting structural transformation and boosting productivity.

The third workshop in the series of poverty reduction workshops in support of the Toward Zero Poverty in the Philippines project The theme for the workshop was Resilient and Responsive Communities: Ensuring Inclusive Growth in the Philippines.

The policy symposium served as a culminating event of the Towards Zero Poverty Project held at the Palawan Ballroom of the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Manila. The symposium was attended by government officials, students, professors, the media, and civil society organizations.
