The project is a collaboration between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in cooperation with the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). It is envisioned to aid in crafting a sustained and accelerated poverty reduction strategy in the Philippines through technical research, on-the-ground missions, and broad participation of development thinkers. The project has three components: (1) a synthesis of poverty research in the Philippines, (2) scoping missions to PDP-targeted provinces that will help in the drafting of provincial poverty profiles, and (3) a series of workshops that will gather inputs from development experts. Drawing from these three components, a policy paper that outlines a set of poverty reduction strategies will be crafted and disseminated to the general public.
