Ms. Maribel Daño-Luna is a Senior Researcher at Asian Institute of Management Rizalino S. Navarro Policy Center for Competitiveness (AIM-RSN-PCC). She handles the SME Competitiveness survey study and conducts research in promoting competitiveness.
Prior to AIM, she was a Consultant at Asian Development Bank and a researcher in the academe. She has provided consultancy work for the Philippine Institute for Development Studies, National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, among others, and contributed in writing the Bangsamoro Development Plan. She has authored and co-authored two book chapters on peace and development and Philippine socio-economic policymaking.
In 2010, she spent a transitory residence in Mindanao while working as an NGO researcher and conducted studies on market value chain of vegetables, supply chain of coconut husks, and CARP budget.
Currently, she is finishing her Masters in Political Economy at University of Asia and the Pacific and holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Communication Research from University of the Philippines.
